Grevenmacher, Luxembourg 28 April 2019
We were moved on by the police this morning in a friendly way, so we drove about 20 minutes up the road to Grevenmacher. Rain on and off all day so books were read!
28.04.19 - Short blog, as haven’t really done much. Well, the police knocked on our door about 10am and said we couldn’t stay! Very polite about it, and we weren’t the only ones asked to move. We moved onto the new Aire (€15/night) - but only to use the facilities which we probably should have paid for!
Drove on for about 20 minutes to a place called Grevenmacher - and spent the day in a another carpark overlooking the Moselle- reading, eating and drinking cups of tea/coffee - due to the rainy nature of the day.
Decided that Germany looks like a place we’ll end up having to pay to park! France has so many free Aires that we’ve been spoilt previously...
Forecast better for tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll be able to get the bikes out, get some exercise and see more of the river!
